Constellations

The dictionary defines constellations as "arbitrary formations of stars perceived as figures or designs." However, to many people over the centuries, from Greeks to Romans, Native Americans to Japanese, these stars have long-held the secrets of the universe. In many beliefs, the stars tell stories of how things came to be, how heroes have conquered villians, and what lies ahead for people.
 
Though there are hundreds of constellations in the sky, each with their own story, there are a select few that are recognized by people all over the world, their stories varying little. Among them are:
